FAQ

ICF (International Coaches Federation) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex world.

As a certified CTI and ICF coach, and have been trained to be trauma informed.  When a client should seek the guidance of a therapist, we work together to create a plan around that, as needed. Many of my clients have therapists in addition to a coach and the combination can be quite powerful and effective.

Finding a coach who has been through a rigorous program such as Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and has a minimum 200+ hours of training plus certification as well as being certified through ICF (International Coaches Federation) gives you piece of mind that you are working with a professional who lives up to the highest of standards in the industry.

Coaching is a creative and confidential process and this rigorous training and certification ensures professionalism, confidentiality and high standards of conduct.

You want a coach you connect with. If you don’t feel like you can be ‘all in’ with your coach, move on.

The short answer: It depends on the coach and the type of coaching you are looking for. It’s all over the map.

A client will typically enter into a 3, 6 or 12 month contract with their coach to ensure a strong and successful relationship. One that will provide the biggest impact and change in the client’s life.

Some coaches charge hourly rates – anywhere from $150 – $500 and more. Think of this more as a personal trainer for your life. The coach and client have a 45-60 min call, build some mental muscle, sometimes diving deep, and then enjoy the after feeling of working hard for something, metaphorically speaking.

Some coaches charge by the package – If you are all in and serious about growth and change, this is the way to go. A 3 month package can be anywhere from $1,000 – $8,000+ and a 6 month package can be anywhere from $2,500 – $10,000+.  A lot depends on the tools the coach uses.

You aren’t paying your coach for an hour of time. You are paying for your goals. For change and growth. To get where you want to go in the most efficient and focused way. What is that worth to you?

Absolutely. Within the first 30 days of coaching my clients, I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you show up, dive into the work fully, are willing to really look deeply into what is holding you back, do the work in between sessions, you will make huge progress over time. I guarantee it.

Together we design the best program for you. We meet via Zoom or phone for 45-60 minute sessions 2x per month. Most clients see the biggest breakthroughs in their life when they have been with a coach 3-6+ months.

For Leadership Circle clients, the package can look quite different. I work within your budget and we create options to match your needs.

That’s a conversation to have with your coach. The  goal of the coach should always be to get “fired” by their client once the client feels complete, has reached their goal(s) and is well on their way, with necessary tools in their toolbox. Some clients continue to aim higher and higher after every milestone so a coaching relationship can last for  several years.

Yes! ICF certified coaches adhere to a very high standard of ethics and confidentiality is the most important standard I live by. Please see the Code of Ethics for more detail.
